The $1 reservation is a fully refundable deposit, not a purchase. It holds your VIP launch discount and your place in line, and it applies toward your pledge when the Kickstarter campaign opens. It does not obligate you to pledge.
You can request a refund of the $1 at any time, for any reason, by emailing joe@rackit4.com. The $1 is returned to the card you paid with.
Shipping is not included in the reservation. Shipping is calculated and charged separately, closer to delivery, once the final weight and destination are known.
Returns on the shipped product are handled after the Kickstarter campaign fulfils, and those terms will be published before anything ships.
